CARs are still auto-created from activities but can also be created individually
Add CARs to an existing recorded activity

Workflow Capabilities

Steps are added to a Workflow Template to determine who should be notified at any point during the process
Specify the action a user must take once their step has been reached in a Workflow
- Approvers have the ability to Approve or Reject and Reviewers have the ability to Review only
Note: we are working on a simple Notify option which will send an email notification to that user but no action is required of them

Once complete you will have a Workflow Template that can be used by the specified activities or Work Orders for a given field(s)

When a Workflow is initiated, users are notified by email when their step has been reached and are provided a link to the Workflow to complete their action
The Workflow Tracking screen is a tool to see the progress of a Workflow with the option to generate a PDF, delete a single step or the whole Workflow, add users to non-completed steps and see the step status at a glance

Changes to Corrective Action Requests

We have redesigned the Corrective Action Request screen and added some new items to the CAR
In place of the Group Assigned, we now have the option to assign a CAR to an individual person or a group of people
These groups can be created if you have the Company Admin role for your company
Now it’s easier than ever to see what work you need to do

Our dashboard feature allows you to create elements to your liking, and in this case, you can easily create a My Work widget which will indicate if CARs have been assigned to you or your groups
In addition to CARs being assignable, you can also assign Scheduled Requests to users or user groups, which can also be added to your dashboard for quick reference

Previously, CARs were scoped based on the Group Assigned role, but we have eliminated this scoping and now allow every employee to see all CARs, while still restricting those accessed by affiliate users
Affiliate users will only see CARs assigned to them, their groups, or ones personally created by them
And lastly, in addition to the CARs automatically created when Needs Attention or Needed Attention & Corrected is selected on an activity, you can now add CARs to an activity after the fact
We also provide the list of CARs tied to an activity for ease of navigation

We have also added the ability to schedule items against a CAR to help close the work loop
