How Can I Delete Equipment From MBO?
If you want to delete an Equipment master entry from the MBO database from the Schematic editor
- Edit Schematic
- Highlight Equipment
- Click on the trash can icon
- Save Schematic
If you get an MBO Notification saying the Equipment could not be deleted from MBO, it may be because it has recorded Activities or Equipment Mapping associated with it.
If you want to delete an Equipment master entry with recorded Activities OR delete Equipment not on a Schematic
- Search for Equipment from the Master Data -> Equipment List link
- Click on the link under the Name column
- Ensure this is the correct Equipment to delete as there is no Undo/Recycling Bin!
- Click on the trash can button
If you want to delete an Equipment master entry with Equipment Mapping, you must have the Company Admin role on your MBO Account
- Navigate to the Company Admin -> Equipment Cross Refs link located under your email address (top right corner in MBO). If you do not see the Company Admin link under your email address, you do not have Company Admin access.
- Search for the Equipment you want to delete and click on the link in the MBO Equipment column
- Click on the trash can button
